The Royal Armouries' technicians, ably assisted by the PFS project manager, Michael Forrest, have mounted the 64pr 58cwt RML on its garrison carriage and siege platform ready for the PFS 25th anniversary firing on 21 June 2009.
The siege platform has been constructed on the West rampart PAV re-enactment area where it can be used by the PAV to demonstrate how volunteer artillery would have drilled on this type of artillery piece.
